We recently received the following question —

“How does it work using an aluminum shade net over the exterior of the green house if you have the vent windows where they open automatically? Would the netting interfere with the windows opening? I have seen green houses with shade nets on the inside of the green houses but not sure about the ones on the outside.”

That is a great question. The answer is that our aluminet shade nets go on the outside of the greenhouse and they are stretchy enough so that when the windows open the netting just moves with the window. You do not need to cut openings for the roof vents, you just go right over them. We feel an exterior shade net is a better solution than interior nets which will allow more light and heat into the greenhouse. Ours reflect the light and heat before it enters the greenhouse. See the pictures below for an example.”
