The Grandio Ascent Roof Vent Kit adds additional operable roof ventilation to your Grandio Ascent greenhouse. At $79, it provides the hardware needed to convert an existing fixed roof panel into an operable vent window — allowing hot air to escape from the top of the greenhouse where it naturally accumulates. Each kit adds one additional roof vent.

Important: This kit includes the vent hardware only — it does not include a new window panel. You will use your existing roof panel. Automatic vent openers are sold separately.

How Many Additional Roof Vents Can I Add to My Ascent Greenhouse?

The maximum number of additional roof vents depends on your Ascent greenhouse size:

• 8×8 Ascent — not available (roof vents cannot be placed next to each other on this size)
• 8×12 Ascent — 1 additional vent
• 8×16 Ascent — up to 2 additional vents
• 8×20 Ascent — up to 3 additional vents
• 8×24 Ascent — up to 4 additional vents

Why Add More Roof Vents to a Greenhouse?

Hot air rises and accumulates at the roof of a greenhouse, and without adequate ventilation it can cause temperatures to spike rapidly — stressing or damaging plants. Every Grandio Ascent comes with at least one roof vent, but larger greenhouses or those in hot climates often benefit from additional vents to maintain safe growing temperatures. Adding roof vents is one of the most effective passive ventilation upgrades available for the Ascent.

Does This Kit Include an Automatic Vent Opener?

No — automatic vent openers are sold separately. The kit provides the hardware to make the roof panel operable (manually). If you want the vent to open and close automatically based on temperature — without electricity or wiring — you can add a Grandio automatic vent opener to your order. This is especially useful for growers who can't be at the greenhouse every day.

Is This Kit Compatible with My Grandio Greenhouse?

This roof vent kit is designed exclusively for the Grandio Ascent greenhouse model. It is not compatible with other Grandio models such as the Elite, Summit, or Element. Note that it is also not available for the 8×8 Ascent size due to spacing constraints.
