It blocks intense midday heat while allowing 50% of beneficial sunlight to reach your plants — reducing interior temperatures, preventing heat stress, and creating a more stable growing environment during hot summer months. Available in three sizes from 6×4 ($199) to 6×12 ($319), with an installation kit included.

What Makes This Shade Net Different from the Summit Version?

The Element shade net is sized for the Grandio Element's 6-foot-wide footprint. The net measures 14 feet wide — wide enough to drape over the full roofline and extend down to mid-wall level on both sides, providing excellent coverage while still allowing your roof vents to open fully underneath. It also includes a complete installation kit (see below) that the Summit version does not.

What Is Aluminet and Why Does It Matter?

Aluminet is a knitted, aluminized shade cloth made from metalized HDPE strips. Unlike standard black shade cloth, Aluminet's reflective surface bounces solar radiation away from the greenhouse rather than absorbing it — reducing heat buildup both inside and on the greenhouse structure itself. The 50% shade rating blocks half of incoming sunlight, which is ideal for most vegetables, herbs, and flowering plants that need bright but not scorching light during summer.

Will the Shade Net Interfere with My Roof Vents?

No — the shade net is specifically designed to allow full operation of your Grandio Element roof vents while in place. The 14-foot width allows the net to drape over the roofline and down to mid-wall level while leaving the vent mechanism unobstructed, so you can open and close your roof vents normally without removing the net.

Is This Shade Net Compatible with Other Grandio Greenhouses?

This shade net is custom-made specifically for the Grandio Element greenhouse model, which has a 6-foot-wide footprint. It is not compatible with other Grandio models such as the Summit (12-foot wide), Ascent, or Elite, which have different dimensions and their own dedicated shade nets.
